Having grown up in Saranac Lake, Rob and his family knew what they were missing when the lived in Chicago, IL. So, Rob and his wife, Joan, and their two daughters, Kassie and Kaity, relocated "back home" in 1988. Rob presently is a Managing Partner/Broker for both Ayres Realty, Inc. and Ayres Insurance Agency, Inc. In these capacities, he maintains the following licenses and professional designations: Real Estate Brokers License, Property and Casualty Insurance License, Life Insurance License, Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses, Certified Insurance Counselor Designation. Rob puts these capabilities to use for Ayres Realty's clients every day in an effort to help them achieve their goals. "Outstanding customer service and advice is what Rob is all about" Prior to returning to Saranac Lake, Rob enjoyed a challenging career with the "Wall Street" firm, Bankers Trust Company, as a commercial and investment banker for large corporations. Rob maintained the position of Vice President and Division Head while managing client relationships throughout the Midwestern U.S. Rob graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of the Arts Degree and a major in Economics. While at St. Lawrence University, Rob achieved Deans List status, was a member of the national economics honorary society, played football and hockey and was an officer of his fraternity. Rob's present interests include his family, his work, coaching girl's ice hockey, exercising on the Nordic Trak daily, fishing, hunting and generally enjoying the Adirondack's.
