Al is a native of Saranac Lake, having graduated from the Saranac Lake Central School. He then graduated with an associates degree from Mohawk Valley College in Utica.
He and his wife, Barbara, have two children and five grandchildren. Al was a former postmaster in the Ray Brook Post Office and retired recently with 36 years of service. He presently is the vice chairman of the Saranac Lake Central School Board, a member of St. Bernard's Finance Committee, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the chairman of the Saranac Lake Golf Club Membership Committee. He is a past chairman of the St. Bernard's Parish Council.
Al is uniquely qualified to manage Ayres' clients' real estate affairs due to the detailed knowledge of properties he learned during his long and successful career with the United States Postal Service.
He has twice achieved Medallian Club status for having closed transactions with a total value in excess of $1,000,000 during each of the past 2 calendar years.
